Evan and Carlito step up

This past Saturday two of our team decided to jump into the Fuji tournament in the Nogi division to test themselves. This was carlito's first tournament ever and Evans first time competing at blue belt. Evan scored an impressive run taking 2nd place, only losing in the finals to points. Carlito immediately hit a sandbagger in his first match ever, a college wrestler, but he didn't give up! Both showed excellent technique, dominant standup and scored a 50% submission rate. Proud of these guys as always, thanks to Alex and Andrew our resident brown belts for coaching while I was away!
